What You Get
I’ll give you a full list of what you get with each of our packages below, but before getting into the technical nitty gritty I wanted to explain some of the features that we get asked about most often, and what they mean to you.
First of all you don’t need to have any technical skills at all. You don’t need to know how to build a website, you don’t need to know HTML, and you don’t need to be a technical whizz kid.
All of our websites have a very easy to use and very intuitive control panel (plus we’ll show you how to use it of course).
All that you do to add new pages, or edit or delete existing pages is to sign in, type what you want your page to say, click a button to add images, video, or audio, and then click another button to make the page.
That’s it, it really is that simple. Just type and click and you have a new page on your website.
Secondly you’re in total control of your website.
That doesn’t mean we abandon you and leave you to it!
What it does mean is that you can do anything that you want to with your site without having to pay a web designer to do it for you.
Believe it or not some companies will sell you a site, and then charge you £75 + Vat for every change you want to make.
Not us, we have no hidden costs. You buy your site and then you’re off and running, you don’t need to ever pay us another penny.
Don’t think that we just leave you to it though – we take care of all of the important stuff behind the scenes, like backing up your website for example.
Can you imagine what a disaster it would be if your website was deleted or lost from a faulty server? All of that work and effort gone.
Well with us you don’t need to worry.
First we host your site at Rackspace, who are widely acclaimed as the best hosting provider in the World.
Second, we back up your website every week, and can set it to every day if you prefer.
That means that even if the server was hit by an asteroid and totally destroyed, we could have your site back up and running within the hour.
There aren’t too many companies that can say that!
Our hosting costs £150 per year, which works out to about £3 per week, but it’s free for the first year.
You also get as many email accounts as you need with our hosting – it will be youremailaddress@yourwebsite.com – included in the price.
